Disney Channel is about to celebrate their 30th Anniversary this year. Anyway, here is the 1988-1993 variation of their first logo during the "America's Family Network" era. I rendered this with Inkscape.

Great job on this great old logo! I remember this well. We got several Disney Channel previews during the 80's. I also had an episode of "Dumbo's Circus" and "Welcome to Pooh Corner" on an old VHS tape from 1987 (I was five years old at the time), but my sister's VCR ate the tape (goshdarnit!) Thank goodness for YouTube, though. Lots of old Disney Channel footage can be found there. I liked it a lot better when it was a channel that had something for everyone. These days, it just panders to the preschoolers and the tween/teen set.
